Booking and Cancellation Policies

Booking: A deposit is required to book charters, dives and courses. Full payment is required for some tours. The balance owing must be paid in before the departure of the trip. We accept BZ and US cash, credit cards and. Large group bookings require at least two weeks notice and full payment. Please let us know at the time of booking if anyone has special needs we should be aware of.
Cancellation: Refund of deposit will be given for confirmed bookings if Happy Go Luckie Tours has to cancel due to weather or other unforeseen events. In the event of a cancellation we will do our best to reschedule the trip at the convenience of the guest. Cancellations by the guest for any reason with at least 7 days notice from the trip departure time will also be granted a full refund**. Cancellations by the guest for any reason including missing documents or medical issues within 7 days of the booking will forfeit the deposit.
**Deposits for certification courses are non-refundable for any reason including if we have to cancel. Course deposits go towards purchasing e-learning courses which are non-refundable by PADI once redeemed.

We reserve the right to cancel dives or tours for the following reasons:
- Weather - sometimes we have to cancel due to unsafe conditions or conditions which would greatly effect your comfort and enjoyment.
- Mechanical issues - we only buy new engines which are serviced regularly to make sure they are in good running condition and replaced once they pass their service life. Occasionally we still encounter issues which cannot be rectified and this may lead to a cancellation.
- Minimums - Our non-private dive trips are based on a minimum number of divers. If we do not achieve the minimum, a private dive can be offered in order to cover the minimum cost of the trip. Alternatively, we would need to cancel the dive. Minimum cancellations are not applicable to private tours as the minimum cost is always covered.
- Staffing issues - Although extremely rare, our staff are human and sometimes they get sick or have emergencies. Generally we have people to cover in these situations but there may be times when notice is too short to find a replacement which would then necessitate a cancellation.
